Justin Laabs is a Milwaukee-based metalsmith. He holds a B.S. in Kinesiology with a psychology minor and is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis on jewelry and metalsmithing, both from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The knowledge and interests Laabs gained from Kinesiology is something that he is inspired by and tries to incorporate into his jewelry and objects. These inspirations include different patterns for design, and mechanisms based on the human form.
